The Maxx Crosby trade saga has taken another turn, possibly bringing the situation to an end for now. Crosby was slated to join the Baltimore Ravens in what would’ve been one of the biggest trades of the year.
When nearly everything else was in place, Crosby failed the physical, which made the Ravens take the deal off the table. That decision sent shockwaves across the NFL world, leaving fans puzzled about Crosby’s future.
Many wondered what would happen to the star defensive end who has been dealing with season-ending injuries the last two years. The biggest question was whether the Raiders would keep him on the roster for the next season.
Crosby put an end to all speculations with his recent X post. He used an Undertaker GIF to announce that he’s staying with the Las Vegas Raiders.
“Everything Happens For A Reason. Believe Nothing You Hear & Half Of What You See. Im A Raider. I’m Back. Run That Sh*t,” he wrote.
Fans immediately showered him with love as they never wanted to see him go.
“Bro the Raiders part said everything, you been through it and still came back standing, respect is earned not given and this energy proves why. Who was doubting you though, because they need to see this post right now,” a fan wrote.
“Raiders forever! “The fire that burns the brightest in the Raiders organization is the will to win.” Let’s go!” a fan wrote.

“My man. Couldn’t be happier to have the heart of the team back. Once a Raider always a Raider! You will show them in 26 why they shouldn’t doubt the condor!” a fan wrote.
“Maxx is going to ball so hard next season he’s going to have to add another X to his name. MAXXX,” a fan wrote.

Clearly, the fans loved the decision made by Crosby and the Raiders. Crosby started his career with the team in 2019, and over the years, he has established a deep and personal bond with the fans.
Ravens GM Was ‘Gutted’ After Maxx Crosby Deal Fell Through
The Baltimore Ravens had their reason for backing out of the deal. Some argued that they were hit with buyer’s remorse after realizing what bringing him in would cost them. However, the Ravens GM discarded those claims.
During a brief media interaction, Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta stated that he was ‘gutted’ after the deal fell through.
“I understand how people might maybe from afar would feel that way, but nobody’s more upset about this than me — gutted by it actually,” he said. “And so a regret, a big regret for me, but we will move on as a football team.”
It’s too late for the Ravens or any other team that might’ve wanted to add Crosby to their lineup. He is staying in Las Vegas.
