Jarrett Stidham will now be the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos, at least for the rest of the season. Stidham was promoted to the position after the Broncos won the Divisional Round matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
During the second-to-last play of the game, which went into overtime, the Broncos’ starting quarterback, Bo Nix, sustained a fracture in his ankle. With that, he was ruled out for the rest of the season.
As unfortunate as the injury was for the Broncos, it has paved the way for Stidham to take over, and this would arguably be the biggest moment of his career so far.
Drafted as the 133rd pick in 2019, Stidham has played for three franchises so far. He started with the Patriots, moved to Las Vegas to join the Raiders in 2022, and the following year, he joined the Broncos.
Outside of football, Stidham enjoys a quiet life. He is married to Kennedy Stidham, who is a former Baylor soccer player. Stidham got married in 2019. Kennedy has a huge social media following and often uses different platforms to share her life updates.
