Patriots vs. Texans Weather Report Today: Gillette Stadium In Foxboro Forecast Ahead Of NFL Divisional Round

The Houston Texans are heading to Foxborough to take on the New England Patriots not just for Monday Night Football, but also for the final spot in the AFC championship game and a possible ticket to Super Bowl 60. However, the weather over at the Gilette Stadium at that time may be affecting the game.

It is currently the middle of winter, so the effects of the weather might affect the game in general, with high winds possibly blowing throws and kicks off course or rain making the field muddy or slippery. Since this is winter in Massachusetts, it may also snow, which could affect the performance of players, as well as also make the field slippery.

Fans watching the game would have to deal with snow as the forecast for Foxborough will be a snowy day, with between three and six inches expected to fall as the game goes on. The snow is expected to take place from late in the afternoon to midnight, so expect the snow to be a possible factor.

There is a 70% chance of precipitation, and in this case, it is more than expected to be snow, with temperatures expected to be in the highs of 36 degrees and the lows of 23 degrees. This means that it will be very cold up there in New England, and it may affect a few players’ performance.

As for the winds, it is expected to be around 5mph, which means it will not be strong enough to affect thrown or kicked balls, but it could make things a lot chillier over at Gillette Stadium. Fans watching the game in person are advised to wear something warm and be ready for snowfall.
