Jake Bobo’s Seattle Seahawks are headed to the Super Bowl. In college, Bobo played for the Duke Blue Devils and UCLA Bruins from 2018 to 2022. The following year, the wide receiver appeared in the NFL Draft.
Bobo remained undrafted at the end, but the Seattle Seahawks saw something in him that made them give him a chance. In May, Bobo signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent.
He surprised everyone in the preseason and found a place for himself on the 53-man roster. Bobo has not looked back since, and he’s now only days away from playing in the Super Bowl with a very strong team.

Bobo proposed to Mackenzie on 07.06.25, marking a major milestone in their relationship and embarking on a journey together. They made a joint post on Instagram, sharing several pictures of the moment Bobo proposed to her.
“It was always you,” Mackenzie wrote. In the last picture, Mackenzie showed her engagement ring while holding each other with their pinky fingers.
Sunny Day Out
Bobo, being an NFL athlete, gets enough attention and limelight. Mackenzie, being a volleyball player, has enjoyed the limelight and attention as well. So whenever they get time to spend together, their go-to destination is anywhere with peace and quiet.
In August 2024, Mackenzie posted a photo dump on Instagram, which included a picture of them enjoying the sun together.
The One Who Makes Jake Bobo Laugh
In May 2021, when Bobo was still a college athlete, he posted several pictures with his girlfriend from their time at the beach. “A couple of personality pictures with the woman that makes me laugh,” he wrote.

Bobo has been rocking a mullet for years. It’s one of the toughest hairstyles to pull off, as it doesn’t look good on just anybody. But with Mackenzie’s co-sign for his mullet, no one could convince him otherwise, even back in December 2020.
Not Giants Fans
Back in January 2022, Bobo and Mackenzie went to a Giants game, dressed in blue, wearing Giants merch on their heads. Bobo posted a picture on his Instagram where the couple could be seen smiling in the stands.
But just to make it very clear, he stated, “We’re not Giants fans.” Even if he were a Giants fan back then, his loyalty is now reserved for Seattle.
Is Jake Bobo Related To Mike Bobo?
Mike Bobo is the offensive coordinator for the Georgia Bulldogs. He also had a head coaching stint back in 2015 with the Colorado State Rams. Mike has a son named Jake. But is he the Seattle Seahawks’ Jake Bobo?
No. While it’s understandable that fans can get confused because of their last names and Mike having a son named Jake, Seattle’s Jake Bobo and Georgia’s Mike Bobo are not related.
