Is Maxx Crosby Going to the Eagles?

Philadelphia Eagles star and two-time Super Bowl champion Lane Johnson recently posted a cryptic message on social media. The Eagles’ offensive tackle posted a random tweet where he tagged Crosby with an eyes emoji near it.

    “👀 @CrosbyMaxx,” he wrote.

While the tweet is not self-explanatory, it might indicate that Johnson wants Crosby to join the Eagles, where he’ll have a chance to win the Super Bowl.

Crosby has enough reasons to leave Las Vegas even though he has always identified himself with the Raiders fanbase. Despite his continuos Pro Bowl efforts, the Raiders haven’t managed to assemble a championhship roster, which in turn is wearing Crosby’s patience thin.

However, there is one obstacle that might prevent the trade from happening.

According to Dianna Russini, the Raiders’ asking price is high. They are reportedly asking for two first-round picks and a player in exchange for Crosby. This might lead many potential suitors to think that the Raiders are actually not serious about trading Crosby.

“Based on several conversations with league sources, the Raiders have not moved off from their asking price of two first-round picks and a player,” Russini reported. “Several teams are interested, but decision makers are getting mixed signals from the Raiders in regards to their genuine interest in dealing their star.”

This asking price is what the Cowboys got when they traded Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. However, Parsons is younger than Crosby and one of the best players in his position.

Between the Eagles, Cowboys and Bears, the team from Dallas holds the most sway to trade for Crosby as they hold three first-round picks in the next two years.
