Deion Sanders and his children have a special relationship; not only is he a father to his sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, but he has also juggled the roles of coach and friend.
Throughout the years, Coach Prime and his sons have been captured pulling each other’s legs a lot, and most recently, when the Colorado coach shared pictures from a recording studio and expressed gratitude in advance for what happened there.
While the post indicated that Coach Prime is partnering with an app called “Hallow,” a prayer and meditation app that aims to help people find peace, sleep soundly, and get closer to god, Shedeur took the opportunity to start a banter with his brother, Shilo Sanders.
The Browns quarterback commented on his dad’s post and wrote, “He finna drop an album” while also tagging his brother, Shilo.
Shilo then continued and playfully responded to the joke and wrote:
“Ima drop on the same day to start a beef.”
Deion Sanders Opens Up About Shedeur Sanders’ Struggles in the NFL
During a recent exclusive interview with DJ Siddiqi, Deion Sanders spoke about watching his son, Shedeur Sanders, unfold his NFL journey.
While Coach Prime admitted that he did want the Browns quarterback to perform a little better in his rookie season, he acknowledges the fact that it would’ve been the case if he got more help from his team, especially from the offensive line, the receivers, from the running game, and from the coordinators as well.
Talking about the adversity Shedeur faces, Deion said he believes the Browns quarterback will face haters, as he always has.
“He’s not gonna face anything new that he hasn’t faced in the entirety of his life. He’s always been up against the wall. He’s always been really undervalued, not really appreciated as he should, and he always comes through. He likes it when odds are stacked up against him.” Deion said.
The year 2025 was a tough one for the Sanders family, as while Shedeur suffered the drastic NFL draft slide, Shilo Sanders went undrafted and Coach Prime struggled to win the games with Colorado, while also spending almost half a year fighting cancer.
Shedeur ended up starting for the last seven games of the season and finished it with a record of 3-4 as the starting quarterback, securing seven touchdowns against 10 interceptions in total while also making it to the 2026 NFL Pro Bowl games.
