Travis Kelce is preparing for one of the biggest events of his life, his upcoming wedding with global pop icon Taylor Swift; however, that didn’t stop them from showing up for their friends.
George Kittle and his wife, Claire Kittle, hosted their annual Tight End University event, and Kelce and Swift maintained their streak by making another appearance.
While Swift performed her popular song “Shake It Off” last year, this year the 49ers star had requested that she sing “Love Story” on the stage.
Kittle was asked about any gift ideas he has for the Kelce-Swift wedding, to which the 49ers star said:
“They said absolutely no gifts, But Travis, for some reason, really likes old coins, so I might give him an old coin. It sounds expensive too. A wedding wish, just have so much fun with all of your friends.”
Talking about Kelce making it to the event despite having his own wedding approaching, the George and Claire expressed their gratitude.
“He’s warming up. That’s what he is. He’s warming up for the wedding. He’s the exact same person. Like he’s got the great energy, love for the boys, but like just seeing him like always watch her back and like always be there for her when she needs anything, it’s just kind of fun to see. I will say that.” George said.
On being asked if they got an invite, the couple said they are going to be there, however, they admitted that they don’t know the actual venue yet.
Mac Jones Spills the Beans on the Status of His Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Wedding Invite
Mac Jones was among the names who joined the Tight End University event hosted by George Kittle.
The 49ers quarterback was asked whether or not he got an invite to the Swift, Kelce wedding on Tuesday’s segment of the “Rich Eisen Show”, to which he said:
“I didn’t get the invite, but I heard that it’s gonna be wild, so good for them, and it’s cool you get to meet a lot of people, and that’s what this event is about, bringing people together. So, you get to meet great couples, wives, girlfriends, and everything. Got a lot of those around here, so it’s always fun to be here.”
Kelce and Swift got engaged last year in August and are rumored to tie the knot around the 4th of July weekend.
