Los Angeles Rams quarterback and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp shared an emotional moment together following last night’s NFC Championship game that saw the Seahawks punch its ticket to Super Bowl LX.
The two were teammates for four seasons together in LA (2021-2024) and won Super Bowl LVI together in 2021. Kupp signed with the Seahawks this past offseason, leaving the Rams after eight seasons.
After Kupp’s Seahawks defeated Stafford’ Rams 31-27 in yesterday’s NFC Championship game, Stafford and Kupp found each other on the field after the game, with Stafford wishing his former receiver luck in the Super Bowl.
Stafford told Kupp:
“Quit making me fu**ing look for so long. Go win your damn Super Bowl, kid. You played great.”
The two had a similar moment after the two played against each other in Week 16. Kupp ran into the Rams’ tunnel after the game to dap up Stafford as the two shared a moment and a few words.
Stafford and Kupp had a ton of success together during their time in LA together, specifically the 2021 season. In Stafford’s first season with the Rams, the Rams won the Super Bowl over the Cincinnati Bengals and Kupp had a historic season along the way.
The Stafford-Kupp connection that season was one of the best QB-WR seasons in NFL history, as Kupp was a triple crown leader in receptions (145), receiving yards (1,947), and receiving touchdowns (16.)
Seahawks-Patriots Is A Super Bowl Rematch From 2015
The Seattle Seahawks will meet the New England Patriots for Super Bowl LX as the Patriots defeated the Denver Broncos 10-7 on yesterday’s AFC Championship game.
The Seahawks and the Patriots met in the Super Bowl before, which came in 2015 for Super Bowl XLIX.
Everyone remembers what happened in Super Bowl XLIX. The Seahawks, down 28-24 and at the one-yard line, threw an interception as Patriots defensive back Malcolm Butler jumped the route, and sealed the game for the Patriots.
Will New England earn another Super Bowl win over Seattle, or will the Seahawks avenge their 2015 Super Bowl loss?
