Eagles star A.J. Brown recently worried the Philadelphia fans during a recent interview with Patriots legends Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski.
Towards the end of their conversation, when Edelman was appreciating Brown for his time and telling him how great it was chatting with him, a line followed by a cheeky gesture from the Eagles star sparked trade rumors among the fans.
Edelman ended his statement by saying, “just remember, we are all Patriots here,” the host then looked at Brown and asked if he knows that, to which the Eagles star responded with a wink, that led to many fans thinking an Patriots trade might be taking place soon, while Brown did laugh it off and said he was just trolling, his teammate, Saquon Barkley, took it on himself to clear the air on the trade rumors.
Barkley confirmed that Brown is just a big Patriots fan and is someone who grew up as a Patriots fan, hinting that the excitement was coming from a place of love and nothing more.
”He’ll be the best WR pats have had since Randy Moss.” One fan reacted.
”You guys are either setting yourself up for a major disappointment (not getting him) or you will deal with Howie Roseman 😂 either way I win 🦅🦅.” Another fan joked.
“Patriots should trade a lot for him.” Another fan advised mike Vrabel.
“Sounds like saquan is doing damage control.” Another fan wrote.
“Is this just a publicity stunt for a better deal or what ??” another fan questioned.
”Lol they are playin pats fans so bad.” Another fan boldly said.
A.J. Brown Admits to Hating Patriots HC Mike Vrabel in the Past
A.J. Brown and current Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel have spent some time together in the past during their time with the Tennessee Titans.
During the same podcast, Brown hilariously admitted his early impressions of Vrabels and revealed it wasn’t very nice.
Brown said that Vrabel is the type of coach that woud call you in meetings and someone who wants to make sure the players are staying engaged.
The Eagles star even revealed he used to write in his notebook at the time that he didn’t really like Vrabel and even wrote “I Hate Vrabel”
I was doing that to pretend like I was taking notes to look like I was engaged. But because he was so hard on me when I was a rookie and I really didn’t understand it.”
Brown also shared that he told Vrabel that he is humble already and that he didn’t need any pushing, as he didn’t understand what the ex-Titans coach was pushing him to be.
