    Drake Maye MVP Odds: Where Patriots QB Ranks in the 2026 NFL MVP Race

    New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye had quite the turnaround this season.

    As a rookie last season, Maye started in 12 games for the the Patriots, and went 3-9 as the Pats struggled in his rookie season. Fast forward to this season, and Maye’s Pats have a chance of making the Super Bowl and a big reason for that is him.

    Maye threw for 4,394 yards, 31 touchdowns, and eight interceptions this past season. He ranked fourth and third yards and touchdowns and led the Pats to its first AFC East title since 2019.

    Because of his play this season, Maye is one of five NFL MVP finalists.

    What Are Drake Maye’s Odds To Win MVP?

    According to BetMGM‘s closing odds for this year’s MVP, Drake Maye’s odds are +115 to win MVP, or a 46.5% chance. Maye’s opening odds this season were +6600 and before Week 18 his odds skyrocketed to -700. Not bad for Maye in his second season.

    Who Are The Other MVP Candidates?

    Yesterday, the NFL released the five MVP candidates from this season.

    Joining Maye as the other four finalists are Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, and San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey.

    Allen led his Bills to the AFC Divisional Round and threw for 3,668 yards and 25 touchdowns while rushing for 14 touchdowns.

    Stafford has led his Rams to the NFC Championship game after leading the league in passing yards (4,707) and passing touchdowns (46) this season.

    Lawrence is also a finalist due to a hot second half of the season. He threw for 4,007 yards, 29 touchdowns, and rushed for nine touchdowns while helping the Jaguars win the AFC South.

    McCaffrey is also a finalist after piling up over 2,100 yards from scrimmage and scoring 17 touchdowns this season. His 49ers lost in the Divisional Round to the Seattle Seahawks.

    The MVP winner will be announced on Feb. 5 during the NFL Honors ceremony.
