With the rising price of goods, the war in Iran and his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein’s pedophile ring, Donald Trump is currently one of the most unpopular presidents in modern history. He appeared alongside Jaxson Dart in a New York rally, and this soon led to the New York Giants quarterback facing a lot of flak. From teammates to fans, a lot of people slammed Dart for his MAGA leanings.
Now, former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker and FS1 football analyst Emmanuel Acho is joining the growing number of people calling out Jaxson Dart over fraternizing with the president. The analyst began his video stating that while Dart is free to do whatever he wants, his teammate, Abdul Carter, was also free to call him out. Acho then went on on point out that going with Trump publicly was unwise.
“Here is my issue, Jaxson Dart, you know how several of your brothers, your teammates, your friends, your ride or dies, feel about this individual, so I don’t know the wisdom or discernment in very publicly supporting the individual who many of your teammates feel offended by, so Jacson Dart, you are free to do whatever you want, but I don’t think this is a super wide decision without consulting some of your teammates.”
He also called out Abdul Carter for publicly calling out Dart when it could have been done in private, though he went back to Dart stating that he should have kept his teammates in mind as Trump is a very unpopular and controversial figure.
Abdul Carter Clears Air Regarding Relationship With Jaxson Dart
As for Abdul Carter, his post suggested that there was a rift in the New York Giants locker room, particularly with Jaxson Dart. However, the EDGE rusher soon took to X to clarify that he and his quarterback are good.
“Me & JD6 are good! We spoke earlier as Men. Yall can keep yall narratives.” he tweeted.
Carter and Dart were part of the 2025 NFL Draft, with Carter being the 3rd overall pick, while Dart was the 25th. Both were seen as the future of the franchise.
