Tom Brady is clearly enjoying life after retirement, but his comment about the FIFA World Cup may have garnered some unwanted attention.
Brady tweeted that this might be the greatest World Cup ever, sparking a litany of reactions from fans, most of whom disagreed with the NFL veteran’s claim.
Tom Brady Draws Parallels Between Soccer and American Football
While he remains locked on football even after retiring, it’s clear Tom Brady knows other sports pretty well. This was evident when he went on “The Overlap”, where he met soccer legends Gary Neville, Roy Keane and Ian Wright. At one point, he even brought up Bill Belichick in comparison with Sir Alex Ferguson.
He may have retired, but Brady keeps busy with his multiple businesses, his role as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, and his work with FOX Sports as a lead NFL analyst.
