Jordyn Tyson was picked at no. 8 by the New Orleans Saints in the NFL Draft, a major accomplishment for the young man from Arizona State, and it seems everyone is happy for his success.
His former coaches have spoken out about his success, showcasing how well-liked he truly is and how much some influential people rated him while he was in college.
Kenny Dillingham took the opportunity to congratulate both Tyson and Maxwell Iheanachor, with the latter getting picked by the Pittsburgh Steelers, but perhaps it’s the Tyson one we should really be talking about.
Also, NFL legend and current Colorado Buffaloes head coach, Deion Sanders, chimed in with comments about the new Saints star, saying:
“Jordyn Tyson found his way into my dressing room downstairs at the conclusion of the game. Jordyn Tyson came in there to say ‘Coach, I apologize’. As a young man, let me tell you something, man I love you, I appreciate you, I pray to God that you’re a top 10 pick, top 5 pick, because you got IT.”
“You don’t have to apologize to me, you’re young man, I was young, I was making some of the same mistakes when I was short of your age. I’m just thankful that you got on the right course,” he added.
Sky is the Limit for Jordyn Tyson
It’s clear that NFL coaches rate Jordyn Tyson just as highly as his college coaches did, and it’s proven with his first-round departure to the Saints.
Under Kellen Moore, Tyson is expected to be given the time and all the tools to be a major player in the NFL for years to come.
