The Bad Bunny – Super Bowl Halftime Show drama recently took a drastic turn. The Puerto Rican rapper and singer has been trashed for months now by people who believe he’s not the right artist to be on that stage.
People have claimed that they’ll not watch the show, there’s an alternative halftime show being done by Kid Rock and other artists, and even some players are feeling disconnected because they’re not familiar with Bad Bunny’s work.
This part of the criticism is at least valid because Bad Bunny’s music is almost exclusively in Spanish, and most people in America don’t understand that language. If the drama wasn’t already big enough, a picture of Bad Bunny allegedly burning the US flag is going viral on the internet.
The picture is fake. It is an artificially created image to spread hatred toward the artist. One of the earliest traces of the image can be found in this Facebook post. Unfortunately, not everyone could tell that it was a fake image.
There are several reasons why the image is fake. The post claims that Bad Bunny was on stage last night, where he burned the flag. The artist is not on tour. The post also suggests that he was preparing for his halftime show.
The image shows Bad Bunny surrounded by fans. Before every performance, artists do their usual routine when they perform their entire set, get a good sense of the stage, test their microphones, sound, pacing, and overall performance.
It doesn’t make sense for Bad Bunny to do a concert with thousands of fans before he performs at the Super Bowl. It’s a terrible attempt to get people riled up against him.
Brett Favre is Not Interested in Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show
Former Super Bowl champion Brett Favre recently took to social media to announce that he will not watch Bad Bunny’s halftime show. Favre’s reason for the same is that he’s not familiar with his music.
He stated that he has no idea if Bad Bunny’s music is good or not, and that could be because there’s a language barrier.
“Not familiar with Bad Bunny so dont know if his music is good or bad. I’m just going to watch what I know Lee Brice, Kid Rock, All-American Halftime Show,” he wrote.
Favre will instead watch Turning Point USA’s All-American Halftime Show that features Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.
