Diana Russini is receiving a massive backlash from both fans and analysts over her viral snaps with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.
The two were spotted together at a luxurious hotel in Arizona, where they were chilling by the pool in swimwear, enjoying time in the hot tub, and were even captured hugging and kissing in a few of the viral pictures.
Russini and Vrabel are both married to other people and have two kids each, which is why many fans and analysts were angry with them.
Russini’s friend and former ESPN colleague, Jon “Stugotz” Weiner, shared that he recently “spoke” to her during the latest episode of his Fox Sports radio show, “Stugotz and Company,” and shared that the popular NFL reporter has been going through a very difficult time.
“How she’s coping? She isn’t a victim, she’s a cheating home wrecker, who once she was caught, continued to lie and act morally superior instead of just admitting it and apologizing. She wasn’t fired, she quit to stop the inquiry into it. Save the sympathy for her husband and Vrabela wife,” one fan reacted.
“Why they treating her like a victim? The real victims are the husband and wife of these two scumbags. This world is wicked for the good people walking,” another fan wrote.
“Thanks for validating she lied. Not that it wasn’t blatantly obvious. Friend comes forward to say ‘she’s coping’…while NONE confirm the girls getaway 🤡,” another fan said.
“I’m sure she’s coping by spending a lot of time with her divorce attorney looking at the photos her husband’s PI took that we didn’t see, and scheming on how to salvage anything before she gets the hook,” another fan shared their thoughts.
“What about the poor wife and all the kids? How are they dealing with mommy being a wh*re?” another fan questioned.
“Am I the only one who wonders how she lost everything and Vrabel gets off Scott free? They will fire you for losing before cheating?” another fan added.
Former Eagles Star Lashes Out on “America” in Mike Vrabel’s Defense
While most fans and analysts have openly lashed out at both Mike Vrabel and Diana Russini for the apparent choices they have made in terms of their relationship with each other and their spouses, some are defending the case by saying it’s a private matter.
Former Eagles star LeSean McCoy bluntly defended Vrabel and Russini and said this is what he hates about America: the lack of privacy.
Giving his opinion on the matter, McCoy said he doesn’t believe anything was going on between Vrabel and Russini.
”If he sees and he greets her, he can’t hug her. We got to stop getting everybody’s business,” LeSean said.
As a consequence of this scandal, Russini has resigned from her position at The Athletic after they began an internal investigation into her conduct.
