Tyreek Hill Free Agency: Ranking Best Fits For Former Kansas City Star Ft. Kansas City Chiefs

Wide receiver Tyreek Hill enters his 11th season in the NFL this fall, and is looking for a new home. The star wide out was released by the Miami Dolphins on February 16, and is free to sign anywhere and negotiate with teams now.

While Hill can sign anywhere right now, it may take some time for him to land with a new team since he is recovering from a torn ACL and dislocated left knee that kept him sidelined for much of last season. If he is able to return to his Cheetah form, there will be many teams interested in signing him.

Let’s take a look at three teams that would make sense to sign Hill:

3 Best Fits For Tyreek Hill in Free Agency

    #3 – Los Angeles Chargers

Tyreek Hill could rejoin his former head coach in Miami Mike McDaniel, who is now the offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chargers have a solid WR group with Quentin Johnston, Ladd McConkey, and Keenan Allen. Allen is a free agent and the team could be looking to not bring him back for this season. While McConkey and Johnston are talented, they’ve shown to be inconsistent at times.

Adding Hill would give Justin Herbert a legitimate deep threat at WR that his arm could use, having one of the biggest arms in the NFL.

    #2 – Buffalo Bills

If Tyreek Hill wants to join a contender, look no further than the Buffalo Bills. The Bills may have lost in the Divisional round of the playoffs last year without the Kansas City Chiefs or Baltimore Ravens being playoff bound, but quarterback Josh Allen and the offense have struggled mightily from not having a legit WR1 the last few years.

Adding Hill to the Bills’ offense would gave them an explosive deep-threat playmaker that they haven’t had in years.

    #1 – Kansas City Chiefs

It makes almost too much sense for Tyreek Hill to end up back where it started by joining the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs missed the playoffs last year and even before Patrick Mahomes tore his ACL towards the end of the season, this past year’s Chiefs team looked less dominant. Right now, there’s too many questions at the Chiefs’ WR position, whether it’s about skill level, character issues, or health concerns.

If Hill is able to make a full recovery from his knee injury suffered last year, it’s hard to picture him signing with a different team than the Chiefs.
