With the Justice Department’s latest release of the Epstein Files, several people related to the NFL popped up, and one of the most high-profile mentions is Steve Tisch, the co-owner of the New York Giants.
Tisch is known more for being a movie producer and businessman, though he did come from a rich background, being the son of former Giants co-owner Preston Robert Tisch.
Steve Tisch has served as the producer for some of the most iconic films Hollywood has released, including “Forrest Gump” and “The Equalizer.” He is also a producer in the upcoming film about football coaching great John Madden.
In the Epstein Files, it was revealed that the late convicted pedophile and sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein, had been scouting women for the Giants co-owner, with Tisch’s name appearing at least 440 times in the files.
Among those released were emails exchanged between Tisch and Epstein, with a majority of them coming from 2013, with the sex trafficker allegedly setting him up with a woman named Katya.
Epstein also set Tisch up with a “Ukrainian Girl,” as well as others. However, Tisch has since denied any wrongdoing, saying that his “brief association” with Epstein was over “adult women.”
“We had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women, and in addition, we discussed movies, philanthropy, and investments,” Steve Tisch said in a statement. “I did not take him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone I deeply regret associating with.”
While Tisch has said that Epstein was only setting up adult women with him, there is no evidence that those women were of age when Epstein introduced them to him.
NFL Already Looking Into Steve Tisch and His Ties To Jeffrey Epstein
Jeffrey Epstein’s network of rich and powerful men reportedly include President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, current Commerce Sec. Howard Lutnick, Trump Ally Steve Bannon, former Prince Andrew and more.
Steve Tisch’s association with the convicted pedophile, who reportedly supplied rich and powerful people with underaged teens, has certainly raised some eyebrows, including the league itself.
The NFL announced that they will look into into the matter in a statement:
“The league is aware of the reports and Steve’s response. Our office will look into the matter to understand the facts.”
For now, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has acknowledged concerns regarding this but has no yet been clear if the Giants owner will be facing any punishment.
