Will Maxx Crosby remain with the Las Vegas Raiders for this upcoming season, or will he be traded this offseason like many people expect to happen?
Ever since the Raiders shut him down (not upon is request) for the final two games of the 2025-2026 season, there’s been speculation that Crosby wants out of Las Vegas and that he could be traded. Those rumors have only heated up in the offseason.
If Crosby does end up getting dealt, there’s a good chance the Raiders deal him to a team in ‘win-now’ mode, or a team that is on the come up and just a few pieces away from potentially winning a Super Bowl. Whoever acquires him would have to very likely give him more than a first-round pick.
Let’s explore three teams that could trade for Crosby if the Raiders decide to move him.
Best Fits For Maxx Crosby If Raiders Decide to Part Ways
#3 – New England Patriots
The New England Patriots already have two talented defensive lineman in Milton Williams and Christian Barmore, but there’s never a shortage of having many talented edge rushers/defensive lineman.
The Patriots are way ahead of their rebuild, and adding Crosby could make their defense even scarier under Mike Vrabel. They pick No. 31 overall, so they’d have to give up even more than most other teams.
#2 – Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys went out and acquired DL Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets right before the trade deadline last season. With George Pickens set to be a free agent, the Cowboys could tag him and trade him for draft picks. They already have two first round picks in this year’s draft due to trading Micah Parsons last offseason.
Adding Maxx Crosby could fill in the talent for losing Parsons last season, and would make Dallas’ defensive line one of the best by pairing Crosby with Williams.
#1 – Chicago Bears
Another team that is on the rise and come up is the Chicago Bears. They went from 5-12 to 11-6 last season and from worst to first in the NFC North division. There have been rumors that the team is looking to move WR DJ Moore, and they could use him as a package to upgrade its D-line and a premier pass rusher in Crosby.
