The Cincinnati Bengals know their 2026 NFL draft class, but just because the public spectacle came to a close doesn’t mean the team was done adding players. Overnight, the team essentially doubled the number of rookies added to the team.
While not as public or flashy as getting called at the podium, this will be the players’ shot to make the roster. For some, this will be their only chance. Here’s a breakdown of the additions, separated into offense and defense.
Offensive UDFA Additions by Bengals
At the time of writing, Cincinnati has added six offensive undrafted free agents, including two tight ends, two offensive linemen, a running back and a wide receiver. The team clearly emphasized protecting Joe Burrow with four players whose duties will largely consist of blocking for Burrow.
- Georgia Bulldogs WR Noah Thomas (reported by Online Athens)
- Georgia Tech RB Jamal Haynes (reported by Justin M)
- Arkansas Razorbacks OT Corey Robinson II (reported by Jason B. Hirschhorn)
- San Diego State OL Christian Jones (reported by Aaron Wilson)
- Cincinnati Bearcats TE Jack Dingle (reported by Tom Pelissero)
- Kentucky Wildcats TE Josh Kattus (reported by Tom Pelissero)
Defensive UDFA Additions by Bengals
While Cincinnati didn’t completely ignore the defensive side of the ball, it is clear that the team didn’t place defense as its top priority at this stage of the proceedings. However, there is one notable addition.
Eric Gentry was projected as a drafted player by many analysts, but the Bengals signed him without needing to spend a draft pick. It is possible that Gentry spotted the struggling unit from 2025 and saw it as his best chance to net significant playing time for the franchise to carve out a place with the team.
- USC Trojans LB Eric Gentry (announced by USC Football)
- Nebraska Cornhuskers CB Ceyair Wright (reported by Matt Zenitz)
- SMU Mustangs S Isaiah Nwokobia (announced by SMU)
