Atlanta Falcons Draft Picks 2026: Round-by-Round List of Selections Examined

The Atlanta Falcons were one of the most talked-about teams at the 2024 draft after Michael Penix Jr. was added despite having Kirk Cousins. This time around was not nearly as dramatic, but plenty of potential stars made their way south to join the team.

In total, Atlanta drafted six players, including four on defense and two on offense. Here’s a look at the Atlanta Falcons’ 2026 NFL Draft Class in order of drafting.

Each of Atlanta Falcons’ Six Draft Picks

#1 – Round 2, Pick 48: Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson

Avieon Terrell is heading to join his brother A.J. Terrell in a reunion after years apart. The feel-good story is not the main reason why Atlanta drafted Avieon with its first pick, however. Terrell showed the ability to do a little bit of everything, from tackling, forcing fumbles (led the ACC in 2025) and blowing up plays behind the line of scrimmage.

#2 – Round 3, Pick 79: Zachariah Branch, WR, Georgia

Zachariah Branch has found himself in some legal trouble (including a pre-draft arrest, per an April 19 ESPN report), but that didn’t stop Atlanta from spending the team’s second pick on the wide receiver.

The receiver will be staying local after recording 81 receptions for Georgia, which led the SEC in 2025. He also earned a career best in receiving yards, touchdowns and yards per game.

#3 – Round 4, Pick 134: Kendal Daniels, LB, Oklahoma

The Falcons beefed up its defense once again with Kendal Daniels. Daniels earned 105 tackles in 2023 and made a habit of blowing up plays in the backfield throughout his career. He also showed the ability to log interceptions at times as well, proving that he might only need the right system to explode.

#4 – Round 6, Pick 208: Anterio Thompson, DT, Washington

Anterio Thompson still has room to grow, but has experienced a variety of systems after spending three years in three different programs. Thompson was assigned to soak up blocks, but still managed to end plays on his own.

#5 – Round 6, Pick 215: Harold Perkins Jr., LB, LSU

Harold Perkins Jr. started his career hot with LSU and slowed down in terms of production in his final two seasons. However, he managed to set a career high in interceptions in his final college season, which gives reason to give him a chance.

#6 – Round 7, Pick 231: Ethan Onianwa, OT, Ohio State

The Falcons took a flyer on Ethan Onianwa, and now it’s his time to prove he belongs. He managed to nab a roster spot with Ohio State after spending four years at Rice, which hints that something might be worth discovering about the player.
