AJ Brown is one of the most talented wide receivers in the NFL. But is there a chance that the Philadelphia Eagles trade him this offseason despite him being a big piece to their offense?
Brown has been in trade rumors since last season. While there was some speculation of him potentially being traded during the trade block last season, the Eagles ultimately kept him, and didn’t trade him.
The expectation this offseason though is that Brown will be traded. Multiple NFL executives believe the Eagles will be more open to trading the veteran receiver, who at times, has expressed his unhappiness in Philly.
Three Teams That Could Trade For AJ Brown
If the Philadelphia Eagles are willing to trade AJ Brown this offseason, many teams will likely have interest and inquire about a potential trade.
Here are three teams that could take a flier on Brown:
Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens have one of the least-productive WR cores in the NFL outside of Zay Flowers. Flower recorded over 1,200 receiving yards last season, but the next leader in yards at the WR position for Baltimore was DeAndre Hopkins with 330 yards. No WR scored more than five touchdowns last season for the Ravens including Flowers.
Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills need to upgrade its WR corps if they and Josh Allen want a chance at a Super Bowl. They had no 1,000-yard receivers last season and didn’t have a receiver record more than four receiving touchdowns last season. Adding Brown would give Allen a legit WR1 to work with.
Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons are another team that needs help at the WR position. Two if its top three leading receivers in yards last season were non WRs, which is not a good sign. Outside of Drake London, there aren’t threats at the WR position in Atlanta.
