The biggest wedding of the season has now wrapped up in New York City as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are now officially married. One of the biggest surprises of the event was that it was the “Wedding Singer” himself, Adam Sandler, who officiated the wedding.
This soon got some mixed reactions from fans, as some did not like it while others thought it was great.
“They are already calling this the most cringe wedding in history. Can’t wait for the inevitable crash and burn on this one.” one critic said.

“did he officiate as Bobby Boucher or just normal?” asked one fan.
“This is actually the most random thing I’ve ever heard in my life,” another fan added.

“I hope he did it with the Billy Madison voice the entire time.” noted one fan.
As to why they chose Sandler, it is believed the comedian developed friendships with both stars separately. His daughters are known friends of Taylor Swift’s, while he also had Travis Kelce appear as a bully in his sequel movie, “Happy Gilmore 2”, (via

As for the wedding itself, both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were wearing Christian Dior Haute Couture at Madison Square Garden for their wedding, with both outfits being designed by Dior’s Jonathan Anderson.
However, there was a notable absence of traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen, as the couple opted not to have them. Instead, the couple were surrounded by their respective families, with Jason Kelce being the best man, while Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, was the man of honor.
