Mila Adams reported the alleged assault involving Stefon Diggs to the Dedham police on Dec. 16.
The assault trial began on May 4, in Norfolk County District Court in Dedham, Massachusetts.
Here are five facts about Mila Adams, who is the former private chef of Stefon Diggs.
1. Stefon Diggs and Cardi B welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, on Nov. 4. Mila Adams testified that the physical altercation took place with Diggs following a dispute over unpaid wages on Dec. 2, at his home in Dedham, Massachusetts. The date falls less than a month after Diggs and Cardi’s baby’s birth.
2.Mila Adams was hired as Diggs’ live-in private chef on July 20, 2025. She managed his nutrition and recovery during his season with the New England Patriots. By the time Adams moved, his relationship with Cardi B was already public. They debuted their relationship at an NBA Playoffs game at Madison Square Garden on May 12, 2025.
Infact, while Adams was living and working at Diggs’ house, Cardi B went on CBS Mornings on Sept. 17, 2025, to announce she was expecting a baby with the NFL wide receiver.
3.Reportedly, Diggs paid Mila Adams a salary of $2,000 per week to cook for the household. Notably, he signed a three-year, $69 million max deal with the Patriots in March 2025.
4.Stefon Diggs met Mila Adams via Instagram in December 2022. Back then, he was still playing for the Buffalo Bills.
5.Mila Adams and Stefon Diggs’ relationship started with friendship. Afterwhich, it turned sexual before she was officially hired as his chef.
“We had a relationship that started out as friends,” Adams said while standing in the witness stand on May 4. “It began as friendship, became sexual, and we would meet up and hang out.”
Diggs has pleaded not guilty to a felony strangulation charge and a misdemeanor assault and battery charge.
Stefon Diggs is currently a free agent. He was released by the New England Patriots in March 2026 after one season in which he led the team with 85 receptions and 1,013 receiving yards.
