The Michigan Wolverines are expected to be well-represented in the 2026 NFL Draft. The event is scheduled from April 23 to 25 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
There are at least six Michigan players who can expect their names to be called by one of the NFL teams. Let’s take a look at those players and where they are expected to be drafted.
2026 NFL Draft Projections for Michigan Wolverines Players
1. Derrick Moore
Edge rusher Derrick Moore is expected to be the first Michigan player taken from the draft board. According to On3, Moore can be selected in the third round by the Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 73 overall.
In his final season with the program, Moore finished with a team-high 10 sacks along with 30 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, one recovery and three pass breakups
2. Rayshaun Benny
This Michigan defensive tackle is a strong run defender with a dominating interior presence. Benny had 30 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss this past season.
Mock drafts have him going anywhere between third to seventh round. On3 predicts the Michigan DT to get picked at No. 97 overall in the third round by the Minnesota Vikings.
3. Jaishawn Barham
Jaishawn Barham is a versatile hybrid defender with high upside but still developing at the edge. The Detroit Lions are projected to pick the edge rusher at No. 118 overall in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL draft.
Barham had 32 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and four sacks in 2025.
4. Marlin Klein
The first offensive star on this list of Michigan players is Marlin Klein. The tight end is athletic and could be used as TE2 at the next level. He finished with 24 receptions for 248 yards one touchdown in 2025. Overall, in his three years at Ann Arbor, he caught 38 receptions for 364 yards and a touchdown.
On3 projects him to be picked in the fifth round at No. 147 overall by the Washington Commanders.
5. Max Bredeson
The Jaguars are predicted to draft one more Michigan player, as tight end/fullback is expected to be selected in the seventh round at No. 240 overall. He is versatile, physical and can be used as a pass-catcher in the NFL.
6. TJ Guy
Another Michigan EDGE is expected to be drafted in 2026. Guy is projected to be drafted in the seventh round right after Bredeson by the Chicago Bears. Guy recorded 2.5 sacks and 18 total tackles in 2025 but didn’t receive an invite to the NFL Combine.
