Michigan Wolverines former offensive coordinator and interim head coach Sherrone Moore was recently seen being accompanied by his wife, Kelli Moore, for his criminal case hearing in an Ann Arbor court.
The video of Sherrone and Kelli’s recent court appearance has been doing the rounds on the internet, as the couple were seen walking hand-in-hand, passing a foyer en route to Sherrone’s court hearing. The former Michigan coach was also accompanied by two police officials and what supposedly looked like his legal counsel.

While Moore’s court proceedings were supposed to begin on Friday at 11 am, the Detroit Free Press reports that Moore’s lawyers, along with 14A District Court’s judge J. Cedric Simpson and the prosecutors, had a covert meeting in the chambers, which lasted for about 90 minutes. A court staff member then reportedly stated that the court will break until 1:30 pm.
A review of the three charges billed against Moore was expected to take place before Judge Simpson, examining the validity of the evidence of the claims. This will subsequently decide if the proceedings will encompass all the initial charges or if there will be any dismissals of the same. So far, there have been no updates on this stage of the proceedings.
What Did Sherrone Moore Do?
After allegedly forcing his way through his former executive assistant’s Michigan apartment, Sherrone Moore was arrested back in November while being charged with misdemeanor stalking, third-degree felony home invasion, and misdemeanor breaking.
This was on the backdrop of the former Michigan coach allegedly having an illicit relationship with his former executive assistant, Paige Shiver, which also subsequently resulted in the dismissal of both Moore and Shiver.
While there has been no confirmation around this, it seems like Shiver could very well take the stand during the court hearing, testifying against Moore. The prosecutors’ and defense witness list includes the likes of Paige’s lawyer and a Pittsfield police detective, with both touted to be crucial in this case.
