Michael Jordan was recently seen enjoying some family time, as his son Marcus posted a few intimate pictures on social media. The father-son duo has had a tumultuous relationship in the past when Marcus dated Scottie Pippen’s former wife, Larsa Pippen. However, the two have reportedly mended their bond in recent times.
Marcus and Larsa broke up in July 2024, after going through a rough patch in their relationship. Michael Jordan and Juanita Vanoy’s son, Marcus, is also the founder of Trophy Room, a sneaker and apparel boutique. He posted some family pictures on his Instagram story, in which MJ was also seen sitting beside his son and enjoying family time.

The story that featured the Chicago Bulls legend also showed Marcus’ laptop that had a document open. The screen wasn’t visible as MJ’s son put a ‘top secret’ sticker on it. It might be something related to his business. Notably, the family was seemingly enjoying one of the NTT IndyCar races with Michael Jordan. He is also the owner of a NASCAR team, 23XI Racing.
Michael Jordan’s son Marcus Jordan was arrested for DUI and joined substance abuse program
Marcus Jordan made headlines in February when he was arrested on a DUI charge in Florida after he crashed his Lamborghini SUV on railroad tracks. The police found him with ketamine, a banned substance. He was charged with one count of DUI and property damage and one count of resisting the officer.
After the incident, Marcus entered into a substance abuse program, and his attorney said that he “is dedicated to becoming a responsible, drug-free, and productive member of the community.” The footage of the incident showed him speeding away from the cops, while shouting his father’s name.
Even though he didn’t continue his father’s legacy as a basketball player, Marcus began as a guard at the University of Central Florida. However, he went undrafted in the 2013 NBA draft and then decided to pursue a different dream.
Marcus later posted his sober journey on social media, posting clips of his workout routines. Michael Jordan has two more children besides Marcus: Jeffery, who is 36 years old, and a daughter, Jasmine, 32 years old.
