Knicks Radio Host Questions Taylor Swift’s Fandom For Knicks, Demands She “Get Out” in Hot Mic Moment

Taylor Swift rooting for the New York Knicks on Wednesday wasn’t well received by the franchise’s fan base. Swift, who has claimed to be a Knicks fan before, was rooting for the Cleveland Cavaliers on their home floor when they took on the Knicks in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Swift appeared with fiancé Travis Kelce for that matchup, who is a diehard Cavaliers fan. However, with Cleveland crashing out of the playoffs following a series sweep, Swift was seen supporting the Knicks in Game 4. While fans expressed their discontent at her move, Knicks radio host Tyler Murray also complained about it.

However, his comment was presumed to be a hot-mic moment. Here’s what Murray said:

“She’s not a Knicks fan, get out of here girl.”

Swift rocked a “Stevie Knicks” T-shirt and sat alongside the Haim Sisters. She joined a host of other A-list celebrities – Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kylie Jenner, Timothee Chalamet and Hailey Bieber, among others.

Taylor Swift and other celebrities were amped to show support for the New York Knicks as they had a golden chance to go up 3-1 on Wednesday. However, they fell to a 76-49 deficit in the opening two quarters. The San Antonio Spurs made 14 threes in that stretch. Meanwhile, the officiating also seemed to favor them more with a few calls.

The Knicks have been able to bounce back after early setbacks in the first three games, but this deficit seems too huge to overcome. At the start of the third quarter, New York went down by 29 points before cutting it back to 22.

With Game 5 in San Antonio, it will be an uphill battle for the Knicks to avoid a series-ending loss if the Spurs take a 3-2 lead on Wednesday. It will be interesting to see if the Knicks can pull out a miracle as they have for much of the 2026 NBA playoffs.
