Draymond Green Slams ‘Pathetic Loser Mentality’ in Passionate Defense of Bam Adebayo

Bam Adebayo’s 83-point record-breaking performance has garnered reactions from around the NBA world. Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green also chimed in with his take on the Miami Heat center’s legendary outing against the Washington Wizards. Defending the North Carolina native, the 4-time NBA champion called out the critics for having a “loser mentality.”

Green often comes up with hot takes on his The Draymond Green Show and talks about everything happening in the NBA world. In the latest episode of the show, the forward talked about Adebayo’s criticism and addressed the talk about his method of achieving the feat. He said:

“Yall want Spo to feel bad for that organization and take Bam out the game and not let him go after records? I hate these un written ass rules in basketball about don’t score because yall are ahead. F*CK THAT! This loser ass mentality that people have in this world is actually pathetic….

‘You’re supposed to take him out the game because you’re up so many points’ SAYS WHO? It’s not his fault they stink! Bam goes for 83. Shout out to Edrice. My dawg. Fire bro!”

Some of the points that are constantly talked about in Adebayo’s 83-point outing include his 43 free throws to reach the feat, his extending the body in some plays to bait a foul, and the team’s need to keep scoring against an already shut-down Wizards squad.

Some rules in the NBA are unsaid but followed mutually by teams, like not dunking on the losing team in the final seconds or the winning team not shooting in the final countdown. However, there is no compulsion to follow those.

“I apologize to absolutely no one,” Heat HC Eric Spoelstra on Bam Adebayo’s 83-point game getting criticized for “unethical” ways

In a media session, the Miami Heat head coach, Eric Spoelstra, talked about Bam Adebayo’s record-breaking night against the Wizards and addressed the claims that the team used “unethical” ways to make the 3-time NBA All-Star reach the legendary mark.

    Spoelstra said:

“I apologize to absolutely no one. Period. I think most of the poeple that probably made comments, they didn’t watch the game. That’s irresponsible and unethical.”

While the NBA world is engaged in talks about Bam Adebayo’s legendary night, the Heat has won another game to make it a seven-game winning run. The team now looks to enter the postseason with confidence and build on Adebayo’s fiery form late in the regular season.
