Will Wade may have enjoyed being named LSU’s head coach, but it’s clear that the program has its own issues when it comes to delivering on the ground.
The biggest problem Wade is having to deal with seems to be the outcry against an expensive roster which has so far delivered minimally. Changing that is perhaps why Wade has been brought in to begin with, but purely spending NIL money may not get the job done.
LSU’s basketball roster reportedly costs well over $10 Million, with some estimates putting this number at $12 Million, while the bulk of the funding of the college goes to football, where a whopping $40 Million has reportedly been promised to Lane Kiffin.
With that kind of money being spent, results are needed, and Wade has tried to justify the spend, but fans aren’t having it.
Fans Aren’t Buying What Will Wade is Selling Yet
LSU fans have always been known to speak their minds, and this is no different. They seem to feel for all the talking, very little has been achieved, and the former NC State head coach will need to work a lot harder to get them back on side.
