Florida coach Todd Golden led the team to the national championship last season. The Gators are aiming to build on their success this season, with Golden’s team on course to earn a No. 1 seed for March Madness this year.
Since Golden has been in the limelight, fans are eager to learn more about his personal life, including his wife, Megan.
Megan was reportedly born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She was a standout athlete at Ronald Reagan High School, where she played on the volleyball team.
Megan reportedly earned multiple accolades in high school, including Texas Division 4 Player of the Year and recognition as an AVCA High School Senior All-American. She also played volleyball at Saint Mary’s College of California, where she met Todd.
Megan won the conference Co-Freshman of the Year at Saint Mary’s in 2007. She excelled as an outside hitter and entered her name in the school’s history books, ranking second in all-time points with 1,527.5 and third in digs with 1,348.
Although specific details of Megan and Todd’s marriage are not available, the couple has two children: a son, Jacob Michael Golden, born in May 2016, and a daughter, Madison Leigh Golden, who was born in 2018.
In November 2024, multiple women accused Todd of sexually harassing female students at the University of Florida. The university conducted a thorough investigation into the matter after it was alleged that the basketball coach was stalking and sending illicit photos to women.
In January 2025, UF concluded its investigation and found no evidence that Golden violated any of the school’s rules. The Gators coach also chose to pursue defamation claims against those involved in the allegations.
