Todd Golden Makes Big NBA Coaching Admission Amid Florida Departure Links

Todd Golden is still Florida’s head coach, but the perennial question about his ascent to the NBA just will not leave us.

It seems like a matter of when and not if he’ll go up to the NBA, and his latest answer seems even more convincing that a move is in the works in the future.

Speaking to the Field of 68, Golden addressed the question of his future, and while reiterating his commitment to the Florida Gators for now, he hasn’t ruled out a move to the NBA as vacancies continue to come up.

“I’m never gonna close the door on the NBA. The NBA is an incredible honor. That’s something that I could see down the road. But imminently, I’m really happy at Florida,” Golden said, suggesting a conversation at least can be had with NBA teams looking to bring him in.
