Recent reports have suggested that Nikola Kusturica may have already secured a massive $12 million move to UCLA. However, an insider synonymous with Kentucky has now claimed that that might not be the case yet.
The Serbian had offers from several schools, including UCLA and Kentucky, but reports suggested the UCLA move was all but done, with an NIL deal in the range of $12 million already secured.
However, that is now being refuted by Kentucky insider Dylan Topmiller, who has been following the recruitment closely. While he feels that UCLA may be in a stronger position to recruit the teenager, it isn’t quite a done deal just yet.
Kentucky Fans Let Their Feelings Be Known
The Kentucky Wildcats have arguably the most passionate fan base in all of college basketball, known as the Big Blue Nation. With the BBN following the developments of the Nikola Kusturica transfer, they let their feelings be known at the insider’s statement.
While time might be running out regardless for Mark Pope and Kentucky, it appears not all hope has been lost just yet in the battle to recruit Nikola Kusturica.
