“Grown A** Man,” Perkins wrote, tagging Marcus Spears Jr. in the process, displaying a light-hearted jab at how physical the teenager is looking even at the young age. The original post that Perkins was responding to showed Spears Jr. as the top high school player making easy work of his opponents.

Long-time friends from South Texas, Perkins and Spears both excelled at their respective sports over the years, with the former becoming an NBA Champion while the latter was considered a great defensive lineman in the NFL in his own right.
