The UConn Huskies are enjoying a stellar NCAA Men’s Basketball season as they occupy the first spot in the Big East standings with a conference record of 17-2 and an overall record of 27-3. Part of the Huskies’ success could be attributed to their star forward Alex Karaban’s form, as the 6’8″ hooper is currently averaging 13 points, which also includes his recent 23-point game against the Seton Hall Pirates.
UConn’s 71-67 comeback win was not the only celebratory event for Karaban, as he became the 25th player in the history of the program to have been inducted into UConn’s Hall of Fame. The Senior Day ceremony prompted head coach Dan Hurley’s wife Andrea to post a heartfelt message for Karaban on her Instagram story. Andrea reposted a story of a banner celebrating the senior’s historic milestone.
“How lucky are we 💙🐐 #11”Andrea captioned her instagram story.

The “Karabanner” also featured Alex’s picture and a plethora of signatures and messages signed all over from fans alike, calling Karaban UConn Men’s winningest player of all time.
