UConn head coach Dan Hurley and his wife, Andrea, recently showed off their glamorous outfits before they went to dinner. Hurley is enjoying his relatively free schedule in the offseason.
Andrea took to Instagram story to post pictures and videos of them dressed up. She wore a black dress with heels, and Hurley wore a white shirt with beige pants and white sneakers. He completed his look with black shades.
Andrea posts her outfit details on the LTK website, where popular creators detail their outfits with links to specific products. The Gucci heels she wore cost nearly $900.
Hurley is coming off another good season with the Huskies. The Huskies made it to the NCAA final this year, where they lost to the Michigan Wolverines. Hurley’s team went to the final for the third time in the last four years.
Before losing to the Wolverines, they faced Illinois in the Final Four. The Huskies faced the Duke Blue Devils in the Elite Eight round, and it was one of the most exciting games of the season. The Huskies won the game 73-72.
In the final seconds of the game, Braylon Mullins drained a 35 foot three to put his team one point ahead of the Blue Devils. The Huskies were so excited that Andrea had to step in and ensure that players stayed off the court until the final buzzer.
During an appearance on ‘Pardon My Take’, Hurley praised his wife.
“She knows nothing,” Hurley said. “She’s a boss…and her language is colorful too. I mean, she was grabbing people around the back of their warmups. She doesn’t know anything about basketball.”
Hurley said that on their way home, when he asked Andrea if she thought the Huskies would be in the Final Four, she said that she had no idea there was something called the Final Four until four years ago.
Would Dan Hurley Coach in the NBA?
With two NCAA titles and three Final Four appearances in four years with the UConn Huskies, Hurley has established himself as one of the best basketball coaches in the country. For most coaches, the usual next step is entering the big league.
Hurley was recently asked what it would take for him to coach in the NBA.
“Maybe down the line if I burn off a little bit more intensity, maybe slightly calmer,” he said on SiriusXM NBA Radio. “For a coach like me, you’d have to go into the NBA with a young roster — like I’d imagine some draft picks coming up where you’re bringing in some young players, or you have some players that are willing to be pushed.”
“I probably wouldn’t be the right person to go into a veteran team like that, but I say that, and I feel like my superpower is probably coaching 18-to-22-year-olds.”
Based on that answer, it’s likely that he will continue to coach at the collegiate level and help develop future NBA stars.
