Duke Blue Devils forward Cameron Boozer and Cayden Boozer’s mother, CeCe Boozer, showed up at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on Sunday to support her sons as Duke and UConn clashed in the 2026 NCAA Men’s Tournament.
For the game, she wore a custom denim jacket, which featured both Cameron Boozer and Cayden Boozer’s faces.
Alongside, the name “BOOZER” was printed in large.
“Thank you ‘Pressed By Sarita’ for my custom jacket ❤️❤️,” Cece wrote in the caption.
Mama Boozer paired the jacket with black pants and tall black boots.
However, the no.1 seed Duke Blue Devils lost 73-72 to no. 2 seed UConn in the East Regional Final (Elite Eight).
By halftime, Cameron and Cayden’s team was winning, 44-29.
But in the second half, UConn caught up with 44-28.
Inspite of UConn’s comeback, Duke still led 72-70 with 10 seconds left.
However, Cayden Boozer lost the ball on a bad pass while Duke was trying to run out the clock. UConn’s Braylon Mullins grabbed it and threw up a logo shot with just 0.4 seconds left, which led to UConn winning the game.
On Sunday’s game, Cayden’s brother, Cameron Boozer was the best player on the court. He finished with 27 points and eight rebounds.
With this win, UConn advanced to the Final Four in Indianapolis to face Illinois, while Duke’s season ended at 35-3.
CeCe Boozer Makes Feelings Known as Cameron Boozer Becomes Player of the Year
Cameron Boozer made history this season by being named both the ACC Player of the Year and ACC Rookie of the Year on March 9.
His mother, CeCe, beamed with pride as the Duke star achieved the milestone.
“ACC Player of the Year!! So proud of you baby. Keep working hard. The jobs not finished,” she reposted the official graphics, made by ACC and wrote on Instagram.
Cameron was the nearly unanimous choice, receiving 84 out of 86 votes for Player of the Year.
He is only the fifth player in history to win both awards in the same season.
This was as the kickoff to a month of awards for him, followed by his selection as the National Player of the Year by The Sporting News on March 12 and the USBWA on March 24.
CeCe was married to former NBA All-Star and Duke legend Carlos Boozer for 13 years.
