Who Are Brayden Burries’ Parents? A Look Into the Family Life of Arizona Star Guard

Brayden Burries has been making waves in college basketball, playing for the Arizona Wildcats. In his freshman season, he has played 34 games, averaging 15.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.6 steals per game while shooting over 49% from the field.

Burries played a huge role in the Wildcats’ 32-2 overall run this season, including 16-2 in the Big 12 Conference. The Wildcats were selected for the NCAA Tournament, and they’re playing their first game today against the Long Island University Sharks.

Burries comes from a very athletic family with both parents having backgrounds in collegiate and professional sports. Growing up around athletes helped him develop the work ethic that’s required to be a world-class player in the future.

His father, Bobby Burries, played professional basketball overseas and was a standout at San Bernardino Valley Junior College and Cal State San Bernardino. He coached and mentored Burries from a very young age.

His mother, Hannah Low-Burries, is a decorated athlete. She played collegiate softball at Tennessee and basketball at Cal State San Bernardino. They have five kids together, including Brayden.

“While at Cal Sate I met my husband, Bobby Burries who also played for the Men’s basketball team. We just celebrated 21 years together and have 5 beautiful children BJ, Brianna, Brayden, Brealani and Brielle. They are very smart and talented and we could not be prouder of all they have accomplished,” Low-Burries wrote, as per Summerville Foundation.

    The 20-year-old Arizona star made First-team All-Big 12 and Big 12 All-Freshman Team in 2026.
