Colorado OT Jordan Seaton is perhaps one of the biggest fish in the transfer portal right now, and several college teams, from Florida to Oregon, are already vying for him. As he exited Colorado, Seaton penned a heartfelt Instagram post announcing his decision and thanking Colorado.
Another team that is also trying to get him is Lane Kiffin’s LSU, which recently scored a massive transfer portal win in former Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt. As Seaton announced his entry into the transfer portal, Leavitt, who just signed with LSU, commented:
“🙌🏼”

Of course, this sparked some speculation that the quarterback is looking for a reliable protector to keep the opposing defense out of his hair, and Leavitt might just be that man. He could be a key piece to protect Leavitt as Lane Kiffin continues his rebuild of LSU.
As with many coaching changes, a lot of players left Baton Rouge as soon as the transfer portal opened, with the Tigers bleeding players left and right. Leavitt is considered the biggest name in LSU’s transfer portal haul, and with a new and expensive coach heading them, this could be what Jordan Seaton is looking for in a new team, along with a new star quarterback in Leavitt.
Several teams have reportedly been trying to court the OT, including Alabama, Indiana, Georgia Tech, Oregon, Florida State, and Florida. This means that there is still some stiff competition when it comes to getting Jordan Seaton’s commitment, and it might take more than a superstar coach and quarterback to get him.
Jordan Seaton Exit Biggest Blow For Deion Sanders’ Colorado
Deion Sanders is one of the best recruiting coaches in the country, and that is shown in him recruiting stars like Jordan Seaton. However, with Seaton leaving, Coach Prime’s program was dealt a massive blow, as he is now forced to rethink his offensive line, which he has built around Seaton.
Colorado has now lost over three dozen players during this year’s transfer portal, and Seaton was the biggest name on that list. This should force Sanders to rebuild his team, though after a 3-9 season, he admitted that he saw a lot of his players transferring in advance.
