Perhaps the most highly anticipated college football matchup of the whole season is on Monday, Jan. 19, as Mario Cristobal’s 2025-26 Miami Hurricanes go up against Curt Cignetti’s Indiana Hoosiers to determine this year’s collegiate football national champion.
While the game is being played in the Hurricanes‘ home, the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, the Hoosiers faithful present during the game has matched that of the Miami-based program’s home crowd.
There’s also been an influx of celebrities at the game, many of whom have flown in to root for one of the two teams despite not being from either Miami or Indiana.

There is no shortage of rappers and musicians present, with American hip-hop artist Lil’ Uzi Vert arriving in Hoosiers colors. 45-year-old rapper Pitbull then stole the show during the pre-game program, while Miami-based producer DJ Khaled was seen on the pitch greeting another renowned celebrity.
The celebrity that DJ Khaled was greeting was none other than business tycoon Mark Cuban, who was then promptly interviewed on the pitch as he pledged his allegiance towards Indiana.
Another important figure in the business and politics world was also reportedly making his way to the game, the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
Apart from the aforementioned celebrities, three-time Super Bowl champion and former Miami Hurricanes star Michael Irvin was also captured to be in the game. Meanwhile, social media influencers Olivia Dunne and Alix Earle took it to their Instagram stories to confirm their attendance at the stadium.

Both The Miami Hurricanes And The Indiana Hoosiers Are Gunning For Their First National Title In At Least 20 Years
Whoever comes out on top between the Miami Hurricanes and the Indiana Hoosiers will be celebrating a national championship that they’ve waited decades to win.
Despite the team’s long-standing history as a basketball powerhouse with five national championships, the Indiana-based program has never won the football national championship. In fact, they had only won two Big Ten conference titles before this season, in 1945 and 1967.
For Miami, the 2026 national title would give them their first since 2001 and their sixth claimed national championship overall.
