LSU Tigers coach Lane Kiffin’s daughter, Landry, is on a trip to New York. There couldn’t have been a better time to be in New York because the Knicks just won an NBA championship after over five decades.
Landry is enjoying her time in the Big Apple. She posted several pictures from her trip on Instagram, showcasing the different places she went and what she ate, among other experiences in New York.
One of the pictures showed the NBA Finals being projected on a building as fans lined up to watch the game.
“I like it here,” she captioned the post.
Landry’s caption stood out to her boyfriend, LSU Tigers linebacker Whit Weeks. He left a comment on her post, praising Baton Rouge.
“Not as cool as Baton Rouge,” he wrote.
Landry and Weeks sparked dating rumors last year. After months of speculation, they made their relationship Instagram official in September. Two months later, Landry’s family moved to Baton Rouge as Lane Kiffin took over the LSU football program.
In November, Kiffin was named the 34th head coach of LSU’s football program. His move from Oxford to Baton Rouge was chaotic and full of drama. For months, there was speculation about Kiffin leaving the Ole Miss Rebels. Although he kept denying the rumors, once the announcement was made, Rebels fans were angry, and Kiffin bore the brunt of it.
Trey’Dez Green Praised Lane Kiffin
Lane Kiffin has yet to coach his first game with the LSU Tigers, but the players are already convinced that he’ll do great things for the program. Trey’Dez Green, an LSU tight end, recently heaped praise on Kiffin.
“He’s a great coach, a great leader for our team,” he told WAFB9, a Baton Rouge television station. “He’s exactly what we’ve been missing there. So, just ready to play for our coach, man. He gives 110%, we will give 120 for him.”
Green said that his team is ready to make a run at a championship. He believes that the new additions to the roster are great and the Tigers are ready to compete.
Green also talked about having a great relationship with three quarterbacks and said that it will help the team once the new season rolls out.
