Jordan Seaton Transfer Portal Saga Continues As Former Colorado Star Shares Cryptic Message Amid LSU Links

Deion Sanders’ Colorado program has taken a major hit with the departure of Jordan Seaton, one of the most highly rated recruits the school has signed in years.

Seaton joined the Buffaloes ahead of the 2024 season and was trusted with the starting left tackle position right away. Now, after completing two seasons in Boulder, the former five-star prospect has revealed via Instagram that he is entering the transfer portal.

According to reports, Seaton has set his initial NIL valuation at $2.5 million, with powerhouse programs like Texas, Oregon, and LSU already expressing interest in landing him.

Out of all the programs Seaton is linked to so far, Lane Kiffin’s LSU looks like the frontrunner to sign the offensive tackle, considering the recent buzz around his visit to Louisiana.

These LSU links were further given credence today when Jordan Seaton posted a cryptic Instagram story. The story featured the former Colorado Buffaloes’ OT sharing a post from more than 2 years ago of himself in a candid on-field interview. However, it was the post’s caption that caught everyone’s attention.

“He Understands That If You RISK Nothing,You RISK Everything!!! 😤🤞🏾”, the caption read.

So far, there has been no confirmation as to what Seaton was trying to convey by reposting a 138-week-old post with this caption.

But given the circumstances around his transfer portal status, it seems like the offensive tackle is hinting at a potential risk or a new move he may make regarding his next program.

Jordan Seaton Reflects On Time With Buffaloes In Heartfelt Instagram Post

While Jordan Seaton’s next college football destination is yet to be confirmed, his time at Colorado was nothing short of special, as seen in his departure post on Instagram.

After announcing his decision to enter the transfer portal a week ago, Seaton also shared a heartfelt caption reflecting on his time and expressing gratitude for being a part of the Buffaloes.

“To my brothers who will be on that field next season, keep grinding, keep believing, and keep rolling. And to the fans of Colorado, thank you for welcoming me with open arms and supporting me every step of the way,”  Seaton wrote.

The 2025 CFB season saw Jordan logging 541 snaps while allowing just five pressures and one sack.
