Who Are The Indiana vs. Miami Announcers On ESPN? Everything To Know About The CFP National Championship Broadcast Team

Excitement for the College Football National Championship Game is high, as underdog No. 10 Miami takes on undefeated No. 1 Indiana at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. While the Hurricanes pretty much have home field advantage and this is the first time this has happened, the Hoosiers have steamrolled every single team in the CFP so far.

With such an important game on the line, the people broadcasting it are also going to play a big part. ESPN will be the main broadcaster for the game, with ESPN+ streaming it online. That being said, the network has sent its veteran broadcast team to cover the contest, and the pair commentating and announcing the game live have done the national title game a lot of times before.

Veteran play-by-play announcer Chris Fowler will once again team up with analyst and color commentator Kirk Herbstreit, as they have done so during the regular season and the CFP. This is now their 12th time commentating a national title game together, so they know what they are doing when calling the game.

As for the sideline reporters, Holly Rowe and Molly McGrath complete the team, and both have had extensive experience in covering sports.

Fowler and Herbstreit have been broadcast partners for college football since 1996, which means they have been together for 30 years now, since the early days on College GameDay. Fowler has been with ESPN since 1986, while Herbstreit joined in 1995 as a sideline reporter. He soon got promoted to analyst in 1996 and joined Fowler at the booth that same year.

Indiana vs. Miami National Championship Odds

Even though the game is taking place in Miami, the first time in the CFP era that one of the schools is based on the host city, the favorite in this one is pretty clear. The question now is, how are the odds for this game?

BetMGM has the Indiana Hoosiers as the -7.5 favorites with an over/under of 47.5 points and a moneyline of -325, so bettors will not be making a lot of money should they bet on Indy. Meanwhile, Miami is a +7.5 underdog with a +260 moneyline, so betting on the Canes could bring bettors a ton of money.
