How Much Is Cam Coleman’s NIL Deal Worth? Breaking Down the Numbers

After spending two seasons with the Auburn Tigers, wide receiver Cam Coleman has transferred to the Texas Longhorns, adding a weapon to quarterback Arch Manning’s arsenal. In 2025, he caught a career-high 56 receptions for 708 yards and five touchdowns.

The move to the Longhorns has added to his brand appeal as he recently struck an NIL deal with Crocs.

“All in with @Crocs #CrocsPartner,” he wrote via an Instagram post.

How Much Is Cam Coleman’s NIL Deal Worth?

According to On3, Cam Coleman’s NIL valuation is around $2.9 million, ranking seventh among college football players. Ahead of him are Arch Manning, Jeremiah Smith, Sam Leavitt, Brendan Sorsby, Bryce Underwood and Dante Moore. Manning has the highest NIL valuation among them all with $5.4 million.

Before his Texas transfer, his NIL value was reportedly around $1.7 million. His NIL deal with the University of Texas after transferring from Auburn exceeds $2 million, with several rumors suggesting that he boosted up his NIL price by using programs as a stalking horse.

Coleman, who was the No. 2 player and No. 1 wide receiver in the transfer portal, was given a “blank cheque,” according to an anonymous SEC general manager.

“Cam Coleman had a blank check from us. Trust me, he wasn’t going (to Texas) for less. He got paid a ton,” the SEC GM told On3.

Apart from Crocs, Coleman is also associated with Nike and the association started when he was with Auburn.

The $2.9 million is a high valuation for a non-quarterback college football player.

Texas HC Impressed by Cam Coleman

On Monday, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian talked to the media for the first time after the transfer portal came to an end. He talked about the departures and additions and Cam Coleman stood out in his praise. The Longhorns head coach is already pleased with the receiver’s work ethic.

“The biggest thing that came out of it, for me, was what an awesome individual,” Sarkisian said. “This kid is an awesome kid, and he hasn’t disappointed since he’s arrived.”

Sarkisian shared a great example of why Coleman stands out from the rest.

“And I think one thing that has been unique once when he’s arrived, you got to remember, Ryan Wingo and Emmett Mosley are both coming off of injuries right now, and so they’re not able to do the things that Cam’s being required to do from a fundamental standpoint, from a workouts with Coach Becton, from a skill development standpoint,” Sarkisian said. “And for a guy of his caliber, he could say, well, those two guys aren’t working today. Maybe I’ll take a step back, and maybe I don’t need to work today. It’s been the total opposite. This guy’s going for it.”

It appears the Longhorns are impressed with this particular portal addition.
