In one of the biggest football shocks to start the year, North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick was snubbed during his first year of eligibility for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In the aftermath of the snub, a rumor surfaced about his relationship with former beauty queen Jordon Hudson.
Social media user Shane Tuttle tweeted that the controversial couple had broken up, though he did not present any solid evidence that this actually happened.
However, there appears to be no truth to the rumor. Tuttle’s account is filled with parody posts poking fun at athletes and other members of the sports world. According to Tuttle’s bio, “Everything I do is satire.”
Tuttle later posted an equally wild claim that LSU HC Lane Kiffin had hired Abella Danger as director of on-campus recruiting.
Meanwhile, a Daily Mail report indicated that Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson are going strong. The report cited friends who have been joking that Hudson and “Big Bill” should get married on the same day as the Hall of Fame ceremony to steal the limelight away.
“Friends have joked that he should get engaged or married on the day of the Hall of Fame… that would easily steal away attention,” the unnamed source told The Daily Mail. “But he wouldn’t want to do it and that will remain a joke, because he has too much respect for those people and wouldn’t be that petty. He wouldn’t want to disrespect those who are actually getting inducted.”
Deflategate and Spygate Among Reasons Hall of Fame Snubbed Bill Belichick, Report Says
As for why Bill Belichick was not selected for induction into the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame, reports cite several reasons. However, the most prominent ones included his two biggest scandals, Deflategate and Spygate.
These two scandals occurred during the Patriots’ 2007 championship run and cost the team a first-round draft pick, a $500,000 fine, and a $250,000 fine for Belichick personally. Deflategate involved the Patriots being accused of tampering with the game ball, while Spygate refers to the Patriots being accused of listening to their opponents during games.
