Fernando Mendoza Doesn’t Have Time for Any Distraction
During a conversation with TONYBANDZ on Instagram, Mendoza explained why he chose to stay single. The quarterback said that his goal is to make it to the NFL, and he realizes that he has a very short period to reach that goal.
So, in order to realize his dream, he decided to cut off every form of distraction from his life and dedicate all his time to football. Mendoza revealed that he lives just three minutes away from the practice facility for that reason.
“With the girls, it can be very distracting,” Mendoza said. “You might find your ‘first love’ in college, but I know that if I finish class at 6, I’m gonna give my everything, my all [to practice]. So, if I have a girlfriend, I’m gonna give her my all.”
Mendoza said that being with someone can be time consuming so he chooses not to do anything that might cause a distraction in his life at this point. He’d rather stay home and watch game film than go out for dinner or do anything else outside of football.
