‘Wonder What Tom Brady Thinks?’: Fans React As Analyst Snubs Arch Manning of Projected No. 1 Overall Pick for Dante Moore

As fans are just getting over the 2026 NFL Draft festivities, analysts have started weighing in on the way too early 2027 NFL mock drafts.

While this year the quarterback draft class wasn’t as impressive as some of the other years, many fans and analysts have high hopes from quarterbacks that would be joining the 2027 draft class.

On the top of that list are Oregon’s Dante Moore and Texas’ Arch Manning. While some believe the Longhorns star will be the undisputed No. 1 pick, Daniel Jeremiah favors the Ducks quarterback.

Jeremiah told Rich Eisen on Monday that he has seen the Oregon star play at a higher level for a longer period of time.

Fans had mixed reactions to the bold take.

“I wonder what Tom Brady thinks? ‘CJ Carr looks like the best quarterback I have seen at the college level since Joe [Burrow] was at LSU, He knows the game, and he can make every throw necessary.’ – Tom Brady (November 2025),” one fan reacted.

“No, either one of those guys deserve to be a first overall pick probably not even a top three pick but we see how it goes this year,” another fan said.

“who cares. Let these guys play first. No one knows what type of steps forward or back these guys will take next season and no one knows who the next unknown like Mendoza will be,” another fan shared their thoughts.

“Depending on how the season goes – is there a chance either or both refuse to play for the Jets?” another fan bluntly questioned.

“I mean, we’ve seen the throws from Moore so we know it’s there. We really haven’t seen a ton from Arch,” another fan pointed out.

“Without any doubt Arch will be the first pick,” another fan disagreed.

Josh Pate Speaks on Arch Manning Potentially Skipping the 2027 NFL Draft

Josh Pate spoke about a scenario in which Arch Manning should consider not declaring for the 2027 NFL Draft.

The college football analyst said that one of the main factors in the decision should be the draft order as he doesn’t have to come out of college due to financial reasons.

Pate added that if a franchise like the New York Jets are at the top of the draft order and Manning doesn’t want to play for them, he can just comeback and play for Texas for another year.

“He’s the kind of guy who would just stay in school,” Pate said.

The analyst further pointed out that there are worse places to be for another year than in Austin, Texas, especially financially.
