“Enemies to Lovers”: Molly Bentley Sparks Curiosity With Arch Manning Selfie

Arch Manning was a star even before he made his debut for the Texas Longhorns. Now in the offseason, Manning is creating buzz again. A Texas A&M student, Molly Bentley, posted a picture of herself with the quarterback on Instagram. The caption sparked curiosity among fans.

“slow burn enemies to lovers,” Bentley captioned the post.

It’s unclear what Bentley meant. It could be an inside joke between friends or something else entirely. Either way, it sent fans into a frenzy.

“Molly what’s happening?” one user commented.

“Gotta be a joke,” another commented.

“Is this AI or they’re dating fr?” another user questioned.

“Ain’t no way ur dating Arch Manning, this gotta be AI,” a user said.

Coming from the esteemed Manning family, Manning has had huge expectations on his shoulders from Day 1. He was the backup quarterback for the Longhorns in the first two seasons. Last year, he became the starting quarterback and was considered a Heisman favorite early on.

The 22-year-old threw for 3163 yards and 26 touchdowns with seven interceptions. Going into the 2026 season, Manning is under a lot of pressure, with Longhorns fans expecting a major turnaround.

In addition, the 22-year-old is in contention to be the No. 1 pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. Everything will depend on how he performs next season and how successful the Longhorns’ season turns out to be.

Cole Cubelic on Steve Sarkisian’s Texas Roster

Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian had one of the best rosters in the country last season. Analyst Cole Cubelic believes this is the case this year as well.

“I do think that some of the changes that Sark made that people look at the roster and say, ‘What in the world?’” he said. “I think he wanted to try and get a little bit more big time with his playmakers. There are a couple of guys who left, and you say, ‘Why would you? Well, he was working. Like what’s happening?’”

Cubelic believes that Sarkisian’s roster still isn’t 100% for the next season, especially for a program that’s expected to make a title run.
