LSU Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin was arguably one of the most talked-about individuals in all of college football last season, courtesy of his massive move from Ole Miss. Kiffin inked a mammoth seven-year, $91-million deal to join the Baton Rouge-based program.
Ahead of the 2026 season, Kiffin was seen blowing off some steam as he made an appearance with Boosie BadAzz during one of the rapper’s concerts in Baton Rouge. However, a plethora of fans on X did not approve of Kiffin’s appearance, ripping the head coach for his dress sense.

“Lane is too old to be dressed like John Cena,” wrote a fan.
“Was the concert performed outside of the automotive center at Walmart?”, stated a fan.
“They have no idea who that white man is, lmao,” said a fan.
“Lane Kiffin has to be the main character in every facet of life and that’s why he will never win it all,” commented a fan.
“Why does Lane Kiffin look like he doesn’t want to be there?” stated another fan.
“He’s doing everything in his power to get them recruits 😂”, said another fan.
“Somebody find out which secret society lane is a part of”, wrote another fan.
“😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂looking uncomfortable and goofy”, commented another fan.
Ever since migrating from Northern Mississippi to Southern Louisiana, Kiffin has become quite a polarizing figure, with a certain section of the fanbase absolutely adoring the new LSU coach, while some fans continue to remain skeptical of him.
How Much Is Lane Kiffin’s Current Roster Worth At LSU?
LSU ended the 2025 CFB season with an overall record of 7-6 and an SEC record of 3-5, which prompted the program to part ways with head coach Brian Kelly.
Kiffin inherited a lot of Kelly’s players, a roster worth approximately $40 million, according to the former head coach.
While Kiffin has also added a lot of new faces to the existing LSU roster, it will be interesting to see how far the legacy program goes in the 2026 CFB season.
