Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Joey Aguilar and his girlfriend, Rylan Moffitt, spent part of their Saturday at The Players Championship.
Moffitt shared photos on her Instagram stories, checking in from the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass.
In the first story, the couple posed while holding Waggle’s white custom hats. The second story showed a view of the fairway, where both Scottie Scheffler and Si Woo Kim were seen in the same frame. In the third photo, Scheffler appeared to read a putt.
Scottie Scheffler entered The Players Championship 2026 hoping to continue the strong form he showed in 2024.
That year, he had one of the best seasons in recent golf history. He won several big tournaments, including the Masters Tournament and The Players Championship, and later finished the season by winning the FedEx Cup. His success kept him at No. 1 in the world rankings and earned him the PGA Tour Player of the Year award.
Scheffler has already won a title in 2026. In January, he took first place at The American Express with a score of 27-under par. The win was the 20th of his career on the PGA Tour.
Joey Aguilar and Rylan Moffitt’s attendance at The Players Championship came before the 2026 NFL draft kicks off in high gear.
Next up, Aguilar is looking forward to March 31, when Tennessee will hold its Pro Day. He is expected to throw for NFL scouts during the workout.
Meanwhile, Rylan Moffitt is also preparing for the 2026 WNBA Draft.
Rylan Moffitt’s Photodump on Instagram Draws Joey Aguilar’s Response
Rylan Moffitt shared a series of photos on Instagram on Feb. 21, two of which featured Joey Aguilar.
Aguilar commented, “Calm 😌.”
Other pictures in the carousel consisted of mirror selfies, one from the court while playing in her UNCG uniform, and one of her cat.
Aguilar and Motfit met at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
While they both started their college careers at junior colleges (Aguilar at Diablo Valley and Moffitt at Daytona State), they both transferred to App State in 2023.
After setting multiple records at Appalachian State in 2023 and 2024, Aguilar committed to UCLA in December 2024 for his final year of eligibility.
With the UCLA quarterback room becoming crowded, he re-entered the portal in April and signed with Tennessee.
