Competition has always been part of the Sanders family DNA, and this week we got to see another showdown between Shilo and Shelomi Sanders.
Shilo hosted a one-on-one basketball challenge against his younger sister Shelomi. He entered the game looking for redemption, while Shelomi seemed very confident as she previously defeated her brother in a similar matchup years ago.
By the end of the game, however, it was Shilo who walked away smiling.
The former Colorado safety pulled away late to secure an 11-6 victory over Shelomi with nonstop trash talk from both the sides. You can watch the full game on his youtube channel.
Throughout the matchup, neither of them held back. Although Shelomi has played Division I college basketball, Shilo still managed to gain the upper hand and win the game.
The loss clearly did not sit well with Shelomi.
Immediately after the final score, she called for a best-of-three series, hoping for a chance to even the score. Shilo, however, declined the request.
Then Shelomi quickly accused her brother of being “scared” to run it back.
Their mother, Pilar Sanders, was also present at the game and joined in on some of the fun commentary throughout the challenge.
Colorado Buffaloes 2027 Recruiting Class
While Shilo continues building his content creator brand away from football, Deion Sanders remains focused on strengthening Colorado’s future.
The Buffaloes have assembled one of the more intriguing recruiting classes in the Big 12 for 2027. Commitments from four-star prospects Jaiden Kelly-Murray and offensive tackle Li’Marcus Jones has helped Colorado climb the conference recruiting rankings.
The class currently features nine commitments from nine different states. Colorado has also added several highly regarded defensive prospects, including Gabe Jenkins, Ba’Roc Willis, Davon Dericho, Kenny Fairley, and Will Rasmussen.
As per 247 Sports Colorado now holds the No.4 position among the top recruiting classes in the Big 12.
Will Deion Sanders manage to get back the glory once Colorado had with the new recruiting class only time will tell. And looking at the situation right now we can be hopeful that the team will rise.
